Mt. Fuji and Mt.FUJI WORLD HERITAGE CENTRE

Short trip to Shizuoka

I went to Fujinomiya and stayed near Fuji Station with my roommate. It was not only for summer vacation but also for meeting a friend that I haven’t seen more than 2 years. My roommate and I just picked the nearest hotel to where my friend is living.

I found that Shizuoka is a big prefecture and it is a bit hard to go sightseeing or move around without car in the area of Fujinomiya. So we rented a car just for one day.

We only had 2 days for sightseeing so we just went to Numazu, Fujinomiya (Mt.FUJI WORLD HERITAGE CENTRE, Shizuoka Sengen Shrine) and Shiraito falls. The areas are quite rural area and you can see Fuji Mountain from everywhere (only when the weather is clear and there’s no cloud!)

I hope I could climb up Fuji Mountain one day!
